This article examines the territory of the Taldykorgan urban water basin of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The subject of the study is the state of the environment for assessing the rational use of natural resources. The purpose of the scientific work is to assess the impact of anthropogenic stress on the natural environment (water basin) Taldykorgan with the development of recommendations for the conservation of the ecological state of the Zhetysu district water basin. The research method is a method for assessing water quality (the ratio of the values of the composition and properties of the tested water with the available regulatory functions); physical methods for combating water pollution (determination of concentrations of chemical elements in them, a complex of specific characteristics, monitoring of pollution halos by pathological values in the brands of the observed characteristic elements); chemical methods of water analysis (gravimetric and titrimetric analysis); electrochemical methods of water analysis (methods without passing an electrode reaction and a method based on the flow of an electrode reaction in the absence of current and under the influence of current on the flow of an electrode reaction in the absence of current and under the influence of current are proposed).
