The people of Kuala Bubon are very dependent on rainwater as clean water and drinking water. This study examines the characteristics of rainwater harvesting as clean water. The results of the analysis of rainwater harvesting in Kuala Bubon have an average pH value; 7.4, Temperature; 25.1 oC, Color; 0, Turbidity; 0.89, TSS;0.13 mg/L, TDS; 12.46 Conductivity; 14.3, DO; 4.46, COD; 34.37 mg/L, Mn; 0.014 mg/L, Pb; 0.06 mg/L, Fe; 0.014 mg/L, and Total Coliform ; 0. The results of the characterization of rainwater quality are in accordance with the drinking water quality standards of the Minister of Health Regulation No. 2 of 2023. There are two parameters that are not in accordance with the drinking water quality standard, namely the COD parameter of 34.37mg/L and Pb of 0.06 mg/L. Rainwater harvesting is a great potential for sustainable drinking water supply.
