Previous research highlights that social networks enhance the success of community-based agriculture by strengthening cooperation, trust, and innovation. However, limited studies have explored how social networks functions within women-led farming groups, particularly in utilizing yard land for food security. Sleman Regency, experiencing rapid population growth, faces challenges in sustaining national food security. The Women-led home garden supports the Community Food Improvement, Diversification, and Security program through yard-based farming activities. This study examines the role of social networks within these groups and identifies factors influencing it. A quantitative descriptive approach was applied, involving 80 members selected through Simple Random Sampling. The Spearman Rank Correlation Coefficient was used to analyze the relationships between education, income, farming experience, cosmopolitan level, member participation, and social media use with social networks in home garden. The results indicate that social networks significantly support home gardening. Cosmopolitan level, member participation, and social media use show significant correlations with social networks. Cosmopolitan level demonstrates a strong association, especially within social networks; member participation shows a moderate relationship, while social media use exhibits a low overall correlation but moderate within network elements. Strengthening members’ digital communication and marketing skills is essential to enhance collaboration and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
