Abstract
In this work, natural waste materials (products of dustings, flyaway dusts, grinding dusts, sludge, waste from chemical production, etc.) and kaolin products obtained by special technology are considered. Based on their chemical and mineral composition, including firing at 1250 °C and 1380 °C, materials suitable for the production of refractory mixtures were recommended. The most promising materials are fine slurry from kaolin elutriation, products of dust off from burnt fireclay production (RON), and waste clay (PR63). At the same time, the products of dry kaolin sorting from the Silesian deposit located in the Czech Republic are also promising.
