Abstract
This paper develops a mathematical model and methods of hydrogeological calculations of the effect of water inflow on the rise of the water table. At present, a variety of mathematical methods are increasing used to analyze groundwater movement. Deep knowledge of natural phenomena and processes occurring in the object under study, along with the application of system analysis, contributes to a more effective of various methods. Application of methods of mathematical modeling of groundwater flow can contribute to successful solution of these problems. When modeling groundwater flow, the groundwater level is the parameter to be determined. The widely used Bossiness equation for groundwater modeling is based on the assumption of vertical homogeneity of filtration flow. In this connection, the vertical component of velocity is often ignored and the problem of planned filtration is solved, which eventually leads to the determination of the groundwater level at a particular moment in time. In this case, the inflow is carried out to filtration when the water level rises in a nearby water body. On the basis of the developed mathematical model and methods of hydrogeological calculation, an application program in the computer mathematics system MathCad was created. A versatile analysis was made under different hydrogeological parameters of groundwater.
