Abstract
The Fallujah Dam is one of the prominent and important hydrological facilities located on the Euphrates River, as it has a prominent importance in regulating the water resources of the central, southern and middle Euphrates regions for economic and agricultural development, through this research, the analysis of the economic and hydrological importance of the dam is highlighted by studying its impact on the drainage of Euphrates water and organizing some related irrigation projects among these projects. It is an irrigation project of Abi Gharib, Yousufiya, Radwaniya, and Latifiyya. It is an irrigation project of Abi Gharib, Yousufiya, Radwaniya, and Latifiyya. This study deals with the impact of the dam on the development of agricultural activity and the increase of agricultural production and livestock as a result of the stability of water reservoirs in it, in addition to the expansion of the agricultural area and the resulting environmental challenges caused by the sediments in front of the dam and how it affects the process and efficiency of the dam, as the results obtained through this study showed that the dam contributed to raising the water level by 2.5 in front of the dam at a distance of 12 km, and as a result, an improvement in the irrigation process Flood risk control is at its peak.
