Large pumping stations as regulators of power systems modes
Tashkent State Technical University Islam Karimov, Tashkent, 100095, Uzbekistan
The article discusses the issues of the effective use of synchronous motors installed in irrigation pumping stations. The necessary capacities for water delivery to waterless territories are given. It is shown that synchronous motors can generate reactive power and thus actively participate in the control of the system mode.
