To further promote rural revitalization in all respects, Jiangsu Province focuses on advancing the construction of countryside with distinctive characteristics based on local realities. While achieving phasic gains, addressing changes in various data after countryside construction and consolidating the achievements through a sustained and effective management mechanism remain urgent issues. Therefore, establishing a post-assessment system of countryside with distinctive characteristics is necessary. This mechanism is analysed and discussed from conceptual innovation to method innovation in this paper.
