The study of the problems of providing drinking water to the population in small settlements allowed us to identify the most important ones in the extraction of water, its preparation and transportation. The conclusions are based on statistical data on water supply problems. The causes of problems are identified and the directions of development of water supply systems are determined. The dynamics of aging of water supply systems in small settlements is analyzed. Various water supply options were investigated. Various water supply systems were simulated and a set of calculations was performed. Options for combining existing systems and reconstructing them are modeled. Water supply systems with a water tower are investigated. Variants of the water supply system’s exit from the crisis situation have been developed.
