The Influence of Western Urban Planning Theory and Practice on Urban Planning and Construction of Hefei Discussion based on “Urban Planning Theory since 1945”

By analyzing the reform of western urban planning theory since 1945, taking Hefei’s previous urban master plan and urban planning and construction process as the research object, this paper discusses the application and embodiment of western urban planning theory in the process of Hefei’s urban development. In this way, we can find out the context of the development of urban planning theory in the process of Hefei urban planning and construction, and summarize the characteristics of the development process of Hefei urban planning.
