Climate change is considered to be the biggest challenge to achieving sustainable development objectives. Climate change mitigation and adaption are two major actions and solutions to address climate change. Mitigation is a lengthy and challenging endeavour, while adaptation is more realistic and urgent. Both are equally important. The ISO climate change guidelines are provided from the perspective of understanding the causes and impacts, measures and methods, principles for addressing climate change strategic planning. The finding of this standard demonstrate the complexity and systematic nature of climate change mitigation, which requires consideration of numerous factors. The principles and methods proposed in this document should be followed when planning the standard system for sustainable development, determining new work projects, and forming standards. According to this document, the formulators of relevant standards should carefully study and understand the relevant content. They should carry out their work under the guidance of this document. The guiding principles for strategic planning are a good place to establish a green manufacturing sub-committee.
