The results of long-term monitoring of the content of aging markers of cellulose insulation – methanol, ethanol, and carbon oxides – dissolved in power transformer oil are presented. A correlation has been established between seasonal temperature extrema of transformer oil and the concentrations of aging markers. To improve the reliability of diagnostic conclusions based on measuring the concentration of aging markers, it is proposed to take into account their seasonal changes.
