Everyday actions, working settings, and routines—including education—are being rapidly altered by digital media. Learning processes can be supported and enhanced by social media, apps, and computer programs. The COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing social life limitations hastened the transition to the use of digital media in education, particularly for distance learning. In the present research we tried to collect all Scopus- based publications in English for 13 years using digital education as a keyword. We analyzed the most popular journals, top authors, top-cited papers, top countries, and top funding sponsors in the digital education issues worldwide.
