Under the “dual carbon” goal, the contradiction between the growth of agricultural product cold chain logistics demand and the low-carbon economy goal is becoming increasingly prominent. As a key link connecting production and consumption, the energy consumption and carbon emission issues of agricultural product cold chain logistics cannot be ignored. This study established a life cycle analysis framework for agricultural product cold chain logistics. Based on the circulation data of agricultural product cold chain in Sichuan Province, the carbon footprint of agricultural product cold chain logistics was calculated from five stages: processing, packaging, transportation, sales and disposal. A comparative analysis was conducted from the two perspectives of agricultural product types and cold chain logistics links, and relevant low-carbon development suggestions were put forward accordingly.
