The article analyzed numerical methods for modeling the unsteady movement of water at water facilities, taking into account the multidimensional distribution of their parameters in space. And also, numerical methods of modeling the unsteady water movement in water management facilities have been developed, taking into account the multidimensional distribution of their parameters in space based on the finite element method, and optional features of using the finite element method for modeling unsteady water movement in water management facilities, taking into account the two-dimension of the water flow in space, have been determined.
