Practical Application of Safety Management in the Reconstruction and Expansion Project of Expressway

During the construction of highway reconstruction and expansion projects, safety management plays an important role in engineering protection. Taking the reconstruction and expansion project of Laiwu Tai’an section of Qinglan expressway as an example, this paper introduces the process of using LEC Method to carry out risk identification and risk assessment for each stage of construction in the project construction stage, and using PDCA cycle method to take special safety measures for possible risks, to establish a safety management system suitable for the project. Under the guarantee of this safety management system, the project was successfully completed and safely passed the special period of Covid-19.
