This paper takes Liuzhou City as the research object to empirically test the short-term and longterm dynamic relationship between digital economy and urban carrying capacity. The research finds that: (1) Digital economy has a significant role in improving urban carrying capacity, but it presents a certain degree of instability. (2) The digital economy is characterized by centrifugal force
