Ecotourism is an important way to solve the contradiction between the environmental vulnerability of nature protected areas and the economic development of rural communities. Therefore, the realistic path of high-quality development of ecotourism in rural communities of nature protected areas is explored. Taking the Langshidang Village community in Beishan National Forest Park as an example, this paper uses system dynamics simulation to simulate and study the different operation modes of four cooperatives: “professional manager+cooperative”, “enterprise +cooperative”, “branch + cooperative” and “farmer+cooperative”. The results show that cooperatives play an important role in the development of ecotourism in rural communities in nature protected areas. Cooperatives with different operation modes have different effects due to their different objectives, but they all make the development of ecotourism in rural communities move forward to high quality. Finally, based on the development mode of ecotourism cooperatives in rural communities, combined with the reality of the Langshidang community, practical suggestions are put forward from the aspects of team construction, internal operation and distribution mechanism.
