Abstract
The preparedness of a territory can now be measured and empirically evaluated. The article focuses on the use of the Virtual operation support team (VOST) as another element of preparedness, which can strengthen the resilience of the territory to the impacts of extraordinary events, increase the preparedness of crisis management authorities, support their decision-making mechanisms and at the same time contribute to the sustainable development of the territory.
