Abstract
This study explores the optimization of roller machine parameters to enhance energy efficiency and environmental sustainability in leather processing. Experimental investigations were conducted to determine the optimal shaft diameters, roller speed, and squeezing force that improve productivity while minimizing resource consumption. By analyzing regression models, the study establishes dependencies between key processing parameters and the residual moisture coefficient, contributing to reduced water usage in tannery operations. The findings highlight how optimizing mechanical processes can enhance production efficiency, reduce industrial waste, and lower the environmental impact of leather manufacturing, aligning with the principles of sustainable industrial practices.
