Abstract
This bibliometric analysis (2018-2025) identified research trends on AI policy and the FAA in Higher Education (HE). It mapped out key trends, geographical research, and a research gap. This study is limited by AI governance’s relation to teaching and the FAA framework. The analysis involved Self-Determination Theory (SDT) and Neo-Institutional Theory to frame the role of autonomy in a changing HE landscape.
