Abstract
Radioactive aerosols are highly hazardous. Although conventional atomization fixation technology is widely applied, it exhibits unsatisfactory performance on submicron aerosols. Charged droplets can enhance collection efficiency via Coulomb force, providing a new approach for technical improvement. This paper reviews the current status of atomization fixation, the mechanism and methods of droplet charging, analyzes the feasibility of their combined use, and prospects future development, offering a reference for the efficient control of radioactive aerosols in nuclear facilities.
