The China-Mongolia-Russia economic corridor and Mongolia’s energy sector

The paper examines the existing and expected energy ties among the People’s Republic of China, Mongolia and Russia in terms of the development of Mongolia’s energy sector and the country itself, and in light of the cooperation among the three countries. Consideration is also given to the basic conditions that are a good prerequisite for this cooperation, such as large reserves of power-generating fuel and geographical location of these countries.
