The article is devoted to the study of the effect on the error of forming RK-profile shafts of various tooth arrangements of the enclosing milling cutter. The schemes of arrangement with a uniform (constant) angular pitch and an uneven angular pitch were considered. The values of the numbers of teeth providing a given shaping error corresponding to various accuracy standards are established. A scheme and procedure for calculating angular positions with a symmetrical arrangement of teeth with uneven pitch are proposed.
